Azat reservoir situated 1 km away from Zovashen village, Ararat region, was built on River Azat back in Soviet era. Over the last two years the people of Garni community noised about the construction of Kaghtsrashen irrigation system on River Azat, assuring the construction will desiccate the river. Director of ArmWaterProject Institute, however, claims the opposite.
