Turkey is upset. Thousands of people were looking forward to Europe exempting Turkey from the necessity to obtain a Schengen visa. The European Parliament has ceased its work on this agreement. MPs have mentioned they will still return to this issue, once Turkey fulfils the 72 requirements presented to it. Europeans mention Ankara has failed to fulfil 5 of those requirements, including the laws against terrorism.
