Clinical Professor of Dermatitis department of New York University Rebecca Baxt, has conducted a research among drivers and concluded that skin cancer is more frequent to appear on the left side of one’s body. According to the research, the UV rays are most commonly directed onto the left side of a driver’s body, since left hand-drive vehicles are prevailing worldwide. In order to avoid this issue, specialists recommend drivers to use sunscreen.
