Even though the frostbite in March reduced 50 percent of this year’s apricot harvest, there will still be enough harvest for housewives to make jams and dried fruits. Farmers’ approximate estimates are already completed: Armavir, Baghramyan and Etchmiadzin are the areas that have mostly been damaged. Apricot trees of Ararat have been affected the least.
