Arthur Gharibyan studied arts in Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts: he was to become a sculptor. When the Artskah broke out, Arthur left everything and departed for the battlefield. He fought till the end defending Martuni, Shushi, Khojalu and Lachin. The self-defense battle for Srkhavend village of Martakert region in 1992, became his last battle.
