RA Ministry of Defense officially confirms adversary sabotage on the contact line of Nagorno Karabagh- Azerbaijani opposing forces on the night of April 1 throughout the morning of April 2nd.
RA Ministry of Defense officially confirms adversary sabotage along the entire contact line of Nagorno Karabagh- Azerbaijani opposing forces on the morning of April 2nd. By using tanks, artillery and air forces, the adversary tried to penetrate into NKR Defense Army and occupy tactical positions.
As a result of active operations from NKR Defense Army on the contact line, the adversary has been totally withdrawn with mass casualties. Military actions are still underway.
RA Ministry of Defense strongly condemns the unprecedented aggressive and irresponsible decision from the Azerbaijani authorities on initiating military actions, and officially announces, that continuation of military actions will lead to unpredictable consequences for Azerbaijani side.
Azerbaijani authorities bear full responsibility for the unprecedented tension on contact line of opposing forces. In the given situation RA Ministry of Defense draws the attention of International communities and OSCE Minsk Group by expecting immediate intervention to control the situation and prevent from large-scale military actions.
