Arman Mkrtchyan is one of the Armenian officers who received academic military education in Greece. He has spent five years in Greece, one of which was spent on learning Greek on an advanced level. Colonel of Armenian armed forces says there was special emphasis on discipline, academic training comprised 40 percent of the program, whereas tactical training occupied 60 percent. During 23 years of bilateral military cooperation, 120 graduates from Greek military institutions have joined Armenian armed forces. Currently 12 more students and 2 officers are studying in Greece.
