The term office dress code was first used in the ‘80s of the last century, in Great Britain. This was the time women stepped into men’s world, by making their ways towards politics, business and other social spheres. Women decided to dress the same way as men did, in order not to distract them because of femininity and sexuality. It was then that designers started to think about ways to simultaneously outline a woman’s individuality and femininity, but at the same time retain business appearance.
