The last place the writer lived in had simply gone for an auction sale. There has been a call for national fundraising to rescue Saroyan’s house. Almost a year after, “Intellectual Renaissance” Fund, founded by Moscow based businessman Arthur Janibekyan, announced about purchasing Saroyan’s house and currently he is negotiating with Fresno city authorities to turn the house into Saroyan Museum.
