Russian market, the main market for the import of Armenian brandy, was facing critical times.
Both the factory’s productivity, and products’ quality improved. Following the changes, consumption volumes of brandy also increased; now 5 million liters of brandy is being consumed instead of the previous one million. Starting from 2001 Yerevan Brandy Company has been maintaining contractual relationship with wine-makers. The company, with its two branches in Ararat, and one branch in Tavoush region, continues to prosper viniculture in Armenia.
