A memorable ceremony took place in the masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture Goshavank. More than 2m high cross was blessed and placed on the dome of the church.
Before placing the cross on the dome of the St. Astvatsatsin church of the monastery complex a Holy Liturgy was served. The placing of the cross signaled the end of the first stage of repairs of Goshavank which was started 3 years ago.
In his speech the leader of Tavush Diocese bishop Bagrat Galstyan considered the placing of cross a great event both for the Diocese and the church.
