For the 7th time the traditional barbeque festival was organized in the yard of Akhtala monastery complex.
It gathered in one of the historical centers of Lori region the representatives of dozens of restaurants of the republic, barbeque lovers and tourists.
The festival was organized by "Development and Maintenance of Armenian Culinary Traditions" NGO. The president of the NGO Sedrak Mamulyan said that by spending the event in Akhtala they aim to ginger the life and tourism in the region.
Besides the degustation of dozens of types of barbeque the festival also had a cultural part, performances of artistic groups, exhibition of crafts and agricultural products.
