A week ago the new academic year was launched. Around 40 000 children this year went to first grade. According to the statistics the number is 2000 more than of the previous year.
The important point of the General Education for the state for the next few years will be inclusive education. In 2025 all the Armenian schools will have inclusive status.
The 7th primary school in Gyumri is one of the first to become inclusive. Today 102 out of 1050 pupils receive special education in accordance with some mental and physical limitations.
