On September 5 the citizens of Gyumri celebrate the day of the city. The festive events started from the opening ceremony of Jivani Street. This year the city budget will be used to carry out large-scale street construction.
Citizens of Gyumri and the guests got acquainted with the Armenian contemporary art at Stil and Aslamazyan Sisters’ galleries. As for children, they took part in the children concerts in various parts of Gyumri. On Varpetats Street Gyumri craftsmen presented to the guests the traditions of arts and crafts from Alexandrapol to Gyumri.
