The Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict escalates not only on the border but also on virtual plane. As on the conflict line, the initiative of internetattack belongs to the enemy, though not unpunished.
This year many Armenian users became victims of so called "crypto viruses". Those are viruses which infect the computer and encrypt all the files. To restore the files the users are forced to pay money to those who encrypted them.
Another reason for virus infections is the absence of personal data defence in Armenia. The users who register their private data in sites with no personal data defence responsibility are being attacked by hackers.
