The station was closed to prevent the stream of illegal immigrants from using the trains taking to Germany. The decision was made after a two days protest of immigrants before the station. Simultaneously the station management informed that the departure of trains to Western Europehave been postponed for unknown time.
The Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban met with the representatives of European Commission, to discuss the variants of solutions of immigrant problem. The Ministers of Foreign affairs of Italy, Germany and France signed a document where the suggest to review the 25 years old EU rules for giving refuge.
