In the evening of September 1 the Artsakh premier of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Requiem” took place. It was dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and Artsakh War.
President Sargsyan with his lady Rita Sargsyan was present at the concert. This historical event was organized under the aegis of First Lady Rita Sargsyan and with the support of Artsakh Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs.
Verdi’s immortal masterpiece united the musical director Ljuba Kazarnovskaya, author Sarine Avtandilyan, conductor Anatoly Levin, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the National State Academic Choir of Armenia.
