Festive mood is present in every city and village of Artsakh on September 2. People cover tables, raise toasts and remember the very same day in 1991 when during the joint session of Nagorno Karabakh regional and Shahumyan regional councils the Artsakh declaration of independencewas adopted.
In years on the orders of Artsakh Presidents 23 people earned the “Hero of Artsakh” highest title and were awarded the “Golden Eagle” medal. Thanks to them Artsakh lives and flourishes for already 24 years.
