Head of RA Traffic Police Norik Sargsyan met the journalists on the eve of the new academic year. He informed that from September 1 police officers and juvenile inspectors will be attached to schools situated on streets with heavy traffic.
According to Norik Sargsyan, the month of safe driving is dictated by children and schoolchildren getting used to the free mode during summer holidays, after which they return to maintaining road order very difficultly.
On the eve of the month of safe driving police together with the Transport Committee of Yerevan Municipality examined the issues raised by teachers, put signs on streets and did new markings.
