Giuseppe Verdi’s unique “Requiem” will be performed in Artsakh from September 1. The outdoor concert with the participation of Russian and Armenian classical artists will take place in Stepanakert Square.
Verdi’s immortal masterpiece has gathered the artistic director of the project Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, its author Sarine Avtandilyan, conductorAnatoly Levin, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia and the State National Academic Choir of Armenia.
The event is organized by the sponsorship of the First Lady Rita Sargsyan and Maghakelyan Family charitable foundation. It is dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and aims at signifying the rebirth of the Armenian nation.
