The Minister also asked about the construction works of the Artashat-Yerevan section of the North-South highway.
Road reconstruction works in seven communities of Syunik have been launched in June in the scope of the essential roads improvement project, which was funded by the World Bank.
It is the only road connecting communities of 17 000 people with the interstate highway. Minister of Transport and Communication Gagik Beglaryan went to Syunik to visit the construction sites.
The reconstruction of the 30-kilometer-long road will be carried out in two sections; it will be ready in December, 2016.
The Minister also asked about the construction works of the Artashat-Yerevan section of the North-South highway.
