The Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan was on a working visit in various regions of the republic. The Minister examined the results of the previous academic in the borderland Tavush, and then Gegharkunik and Kotayk regions.
Armen Ashotyan mentioned that considering the shortcomings of the previous year, the new academic year will be different from the previous one with its innovations.
He confessed that the current educational system does not correspond to the technological and content demands of the century. According to Ashotyan it is time to change the standards and give versatility to the system.
The Minister informed that high schools and major secondary schools will be equipped with new furniture, computers and modern devicesbefore the start of the new academic year.
