The friendship of the European journalist Lucas Goetz with Armenians started accidentally. In spring he got acquainted with Artsakh politicians Armine Aleksanyan and David Melkumyan who were visiting Europe.

In his article Lucas Goetz expressed amazement, that in Middle East countries the presidents which were elected with more than 90% votes multiple times are acknowledged as legitimate but and it is passively spoke about the democratic elections in NKR. It is in that case when more than a hundred international observers consider Artsakh elections fair.
Today the journalist is an employee of "European Friends of Armenia" office. In one of the main offices in Brussels which protects the interests of Armenia he will promote the struggle of international recognition of Artsakh.
