Despite the obstacles created by Kurds and Turks the "Taron-Mush" expatriate union was created a year ago. The aim of the activity is to unify the Armenians living in Turkey and to organize more efficiently the act to return the identity.
The members of the expatriate union are mainly from Mush, Sasun, Alashkert and the Armenians from the villages and cities in the north of lake Van. The organization gives opportunity to the members of the union to learn the Armenian history and culture. Lessons of Armenian are also organized.
A football team was formed in the expatriate union which for the first time participated in the 6th Pan-Armenian games.
