She gave to the emperor 8 sons and 6 daughters. Unfortunately, during the 14th childbirth she died. Before the death she asked her husband to promise to build a mausoleum for her and not to marry any more. Shah Jahan announced a 2-year morning and then started the construction of the mausoleum.
