Alexander was a commander and a state figure, the talks about who continue for centuries and millenniums. He was a man, a half-man or a god. Anyway, he was idolized by the army, and his mother, Olympias insisted that he was the son of Zeus, whereas his father, King Philip II, assured he was merely a complaining young man.
