The “miner and metallurgist day” is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of July each year. The holiday in Alaverdi this year coincided with the 245th anniversary of copper production in Armenia. Here the first industrial company of the country was created which became the beginning of industrial culture and worker-society relationships.
