Michael Varosyan will represent Armenia in one of the most prestigious music events - the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.
Michael’s biggest dream is a reality now. Since 2012 he had participated in all Junior Eurovision national selections held in Armenia, and only several points separated him from the victory. This year, the creative team of AMPTV decided that Michael will be the ambassador of Armenia in the world famous and loved contest.
Michael is 12 years old. He started his music career at the age of six. He has been studying music and vocal, and has participated in various international music events and competitions, returning home with prestigious prizes and awards.
In 2012 Michael participated in the Armenian national selection for the “New wave” competition. In 2013 he participated in “Golden Sparkles” music festival – competition, held in Varna, Bulgaria. Here he was awarded three prizes: second place in performing competition, third place in singing competition, as well as a special award ''The most attractive participant''.
In 2013 during the ''Multiknik'' award ceremony Michael was awarded the ''Discovery of the year'' award. In 2014, during the same ceremony, he got the “Best song of the year” award for his song ''The childhood advise''
In 2014 Michael participated in ''Slavianski Bazaar'' international competition held in Vitebsk. Here he represented Armenia and took the third place.
In 2014 Michael started his career on television. Currently he is the host of the ''Puzzle'' show.
Michael played a role in Armen Ronov’s ''The burning bush friendship''. He has also done voice overs for characters in famous movies and animation films.
He loves Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson and is a big fan of their work.

Armenia has been participating in the Junior Eurovision since 2007 and has always reached good results. In 2010 Vladimir Arzumanyan won the contest, and brought the Junior Eurovision to Armenia. The music group “Arevik” (2007) and Luara (2009) have placed second, while the “Compass band” (2012) and Betty (2014) came in third.
This year the world famous Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will take place on November 21 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The official slogan this year is ''#Discover''. The contest will be held in the Armeec Arena, which was built in 2001 and has a capacity of up to 8.000 people. World famous artists like Lady Gaga, Sade and Tom Jones have perforemed in this arena.
