In the world the cars which are already scrap metal are gathered and destroyed in special areas, which received the name "car graveyards". Though Yerevan has special area for worn car carcasses, the amount of unused cars in the city is problematic.
Unused cars without owners can be found in every district of Yerevan. Cars out of order remain parked in yards or streets for days, months and sometimes even years.
