One of the best proofs of the cult of our people formed through centuries towards Writing and Literature, our own and even foreign cultural values are the foreign manuscripts saved during the days of the Armenian Genocide.
Not all the books were transported to Eastern Armenia after the salvation, some of them appeared in libraries of different countries, but eventually after years resided in the Matenadaran.
