"Green energy for socio-economic progress of the region of Shirak" project gathered in Shirak regional council the leaders. The details of the project and the edges of cooperation were discussed.
The project financed by the EU and the Austrian Development Agency will be initiated by the "Development Solutions Institute" foundation in two years.
In the scope of the project with around 320 000 euros budget it is intended to invest in renewable energy systems and alsogreenhouses. This year an Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Resource Center will be established in Gyumri which will provide information for all the interested persons and organizations.
