At the age of 7 John Rockefeller raised several turkeys and sold them to his neighbor for $ 50. Then he lent money to his other neighbor. At the age of candies and games John already had enough money.
After taking an accounting course, John started searching for a job with great enthusiasm. Hewitt and Tuttle Company employed the boy, who had not finished school yet. It was an unpaid but nice job, which started at 06.30 and ended at 10:00 o’clock in the evening. After 3 months they started paying Rockefeller.
