The "Armenian Plants" festival was organized in Yenokavan village of Tavush region.
The number of supporters and participants of the unique festival exceeded the expectations. The most crowded pavilion was the herbs fair. Dozens of Armenian plants from different settlements were uniquely presented.
Besides the fair, on other four pavilions simultaneously took place the master classes of national cuisine, art, wool dyeing, felt making and national games.
The first aim of the festival was to make available for the public the variety of Armenian plants. Despite that large variety people know very little about them, frequently only the names of one or two herbs.
