The harvest season is in heated process in Armavir. Both fruit trees and wheat field are being harvested. The experienced laborers remember that during the collective farm years 1 hectare of land lent up to 80 quintals of grain.
According to the farmers the yearly decreasing statistics can be raised again if the water and land payments get cheaper, and the state provides the industries with quality seeds.
Compared to last year, this year there were no irrigation problems. The only issue is the price: last year wheat was stored 130-140 drams per 1kg, this year it was 100 drams. Despite the price controversies the villagers are satisfied. This year they had rich wheat harvest.
