Winston Churchill’s most famous photo been taken by Yousuf Karsh. In the photo captured in 1941 the British Prime Minister is presented as angry and noble. That strict character was very profitable for Churchill, especially during the period of the World War II.
But Churchill has a number of other photos, too, where he is not angry and wicked at all. The photographers of Life Magazine were periodically assigned to take Churchill’s photos at home, in a family environment. In those photos the political figure was presented in quite another way – he is a caring animal lover, a romantic artist and a hard-working farmer.
Churchill started painting from 1915, when he was 41 years old. He has created 50 paintings.
