The famous Armenian director was one of the favorites of the Film Festival; his films are respected and loved there.
Armenia was also presented in the staff of famous jury in the 37th Moscow Film Festival. Nikita Mikhalkov gathered famous people of filmmaking in the team of the main jury of the competition, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Jacqueline Bisset, and Harutyun Khachatryan on his invitation was a member of jury of documentary films.

In 2014 festival the director presented his new film “Endless Escape, Eternal Return”. This year the staff of the festival celebrated the director’s 60th anniversary with a creativity evening, prestigious film awards and the show of the “The Wind of Emptiness” film.
