A husband in Yerevan Republican Hospital maternity shot his wife who gave birth through a caesarian section 3 days ago, and committed suicide. The alarm was received at 10:15 o'clock in the morning. Hayk Vardanyan who severely wounded his wife in the maternity, fired 4 shots two of which hit her neck. Immediately after the incident a counsel was assembled with the participation of the representatives of healthcare and it was decided to move the severely wounded woman, the 27 years old Meline Asatryan, from " Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology" center to "Armenia" medical center.
After all the necessary procedures: laboratory, instrumentation, computer aided tomography research the woman underwent surgery. The three-hour surgery was successful.
