The villages on the Armenian-Turkish border suffer the most because of hails. Because of the high mountainous position thehail clouds more frequently gather over the other side of the border and very frequently move to this side of the border.
The problem of hail clouds, though, is partially solved in the Bagaran and Yervandashat villages of Armavir region, thanks to the donations of the philanthropist Ruben Grigoryan who lives in Russia. The villages have two anti-hail stations each, thanks to the funds of the philanthropist. The 8 anti-hail stations placed in the last month have already 3 times dispersed hail clouds.
