Karbi village is far from Yerevan only for several kilometers. The village is known for its fruitful gardens and hospitable people. The residents’ main occupation is the cultivation of fields. We were hosted at the Hovhannisyans’ family during the pick time of harvesting.
All family members participate in harvesting every year. The youngest member of the family, Tatul, who has been named after the grandpa, has been helping his family already for several years. And the elder member of the family, the 80-year-old grandma, follows them working under the shadow of trees.
