Half of the Akhkyorpi village, 120km far from Tbilisi, are not baptized. Akhkyorpi together with 4 other Armenian villages of Marneuli region with the blessing of the head of the Armenian-Georgian Diocese was given to Priest Manuk Zeynalyan.
Priest Manuk passes the road to the village several times a week. The consequent visit was symbolic, a few dozens of Akhkyorpi villagers were to be baptized, to become sons of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
