The organizers and leaders of the orchestra devoted the spiritual music in the Smolny temple in St. Petersburg to the Armenian nation and Armenia. Verdi’s “Requiem”, performed by Armenian, Russian and Italian soloists in St. Petersburg, was dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
The concert was organized in the scope of the “Palaces of St. Petersburg” 23rd International Music Festival.
