Every night about 50 calls are received on the police hotline about the location of the animals. Neither the police nor the special groups of Crisis Management Council have succeeded in finding the two predators.
The damage wouldn’t be so much if the river Vere which flows through the center of Tbilisi was not taken into concrete pipes because of the overpass they built several years ago. The river flowed through the Zoo. It flooded and breaking all the pipes ruined the zoo.
