In the 80s of the past century the address of this little young woman with black hair, large eyes and ringing voice was the Drama Theater. Tatevik was born in Yerevan into the family of distinguished art workers Emma Vardanyan and Hrachya Ghaplanyan.
Her debut was in 1971 in Makayonok’s “The Persecuted Apostle” play. Both the character and the actress were teenagers. Both were endowed with contagious spontaneity and humor. Tatevik’s play was appreciated both by Armenian and Russian theater critics.
The actress was a follower of the Vakhtangov School. She has been recognized with her roles of “Ofelia”, “Jeanne d'Arc” and “Valya”.
