The applicants against Armenia in the Chiragov case are 6 Kurds who are citizens of Turkey.
The European Court of Human Rights on June 16 published the verdicts of “Chiragov and other v Armenia” and “Sargsyan v Azerbaijan” cases.
The applicants against Armenia in the Chiragov case are 6 Kurds who are citizens of Turkey. They lived in Lachin and nearby villages. The applicants in the European court demand that in the result of the liberation of Lachin and the opening of a humanitarian corridor their human rights were violated.
The applicant of the “Sargsyan v Azerbaijan” was Minas Sargsyan who died in 2009. In the result of expulsion of Armenians in Shahumyan in 1992 the family of Sargsyan was deprived of the property and moved to Yerevan as refugees.
The verdict of the ECHR is presented by the representative of our country in European Court, the prosecutor general of RA Gevorg Kostanyan.
