The members of our team gained their knowledge and skills in chess during the school subject Chess.
The prestigious international tournament White Rook took place in Sochi, Russia, from June1 to 9. The absolute winner was the team of the school in Yerevan named after Chekhov.
The tournament gained its high reputation in Soviet times as well and winning it was a great honor for each team. After the collapse of the USSR the tournament was held locally.
Only this year, after a decade’s long break, teams from six more countries joined teams from 76 Russian regions. The members of our team gained their knowledge and skills in chess during the school subject Chess.
