The import of blood is not banned in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. But as Director of the Hematology Center named after R.O. Yolyan Smbat Daghbashyan says, every country itself must meet its blood resources. All the blood subdivisions and stations working in the territory of Armenia collaborate with each other, thanks to which there is never a problem of obtaining blood components. Besides that, there are blood resources, which are intended for emergency situations.
It is important to know that the blood given as donation is not for sale, but it is provided free of charge to the people, whose life is possible to save thanks to it.
