The issue of churches remains one of the unsolved problems of the Armenian-Georgian relations. Only 50 out of 400 Armenian churchesoperate in our neighboring country.
The Georgian party demands the evidence proving that these churches are Armenian. The Armenian Diocese of Georgia has done a quite extensive work and prepared a thick folder in order to solve the problem of legal status of the Armenian churches once and for all.
