There was a time when the inhabitants of the city could see snakes only in zoos. Now it is different, one can see snakes even in the yard of the block. In recent years the number of such cases has drastically grown and is a point of serious concern.
The Ministry of Health hotline this year has already registered 17 cases of snake bite. One case of death was registered because of the late application to the hospital.
According to Armenia's chief toxicologist Michael Gabrielyan all the hospitals are provided with the serum to counteract the effects caused by the bite.
