Tatevik Hovhannisyan is the daughter of Ofelya Hambardzumyan, who was an idol in Soviet Armenia. But she is better remembered for her timbre than for the title of being the daughter of the renowned singer.
Her mother was a singer, father was a kamancha player, and brother – a violinist. She took her music path at the age of 11. First she finished Yerevan Music School names after Sayat-Nova, then graduated from the Music College named after Romanos Melikyan and gained the profession of a conductor. Subsequently she entered the State Pop Orchestra of Armenia.
Different music sounded at their home - classical, Armenian, folk. And jazz sounded thanks to Tatevik. The singer, who enjoyed big success in Armenia, traveled to the United States.
