During the scientific event in the Chamber of Advocates Turkish historian Taner Akçam stressed that it is necessary to recognize and condemn not only the massacre of Armenians but also the Greeks, Assyrians and other minorities living in the territory of Ottoman Empire.
He and other scientists mentioned that Ankara today fears the most not the recognition of the fact of genocide but the compensation for elimination of consequences.
